I know you are thinking well FINALLY. Yes I am finally biting the bullet and creating a website. You know I have been blogging all summer at and have really enjoyed it. Then I made a blog for Dianne Hires as part of my job as Vice President of Quilters of South Carolina so of course a website was the next natural step or at least I think it is. Enjoy!!

Been a great year...My Lady Nolly was selected to be one of 15 quilts in the International Quilt Festival special exhibit "Do you know what it means to miss New Orleans?" What a thrill. This exhibit was dedicated to New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina.

Last count my friends and I had donated around 100 quilts to the Hurricane Katrina project "Quilters Comfort America" sponsored by Quilts Inc and Karey Bresnehan.

My quilt the Coral Reef was chosen as the featured quilt on the back of the show cd for the New England Quilt Museum's Batik de Resistance show.

One of the biggest thrills I have had this year is when my 2001 Journal quilts were picked as part of the Favorites Exhibit in Houston at International Quilt Festival. My journal quilts were hanging by Leslie Riley's, my name was listed in the show catalog with such luminaries as Caryl Bryer Fallert and Ricky Tims and the lady that made the incredible Book of Kells ...all I can say is OH MY!!!

I have had a great year trying out all kinds of techniques on postcards and fabrics. Anything that would apply color got tried out on them....stamps, oil pastels, prismacolor pencils, gel pens, and pigma markers....all great fun and give great effects.

I would also like to say thanks to all my blog visitors who send me notes about how much they enjoy it! I have gotten letters from all over the world telling me how much they love my stuff. I even have a bed reserved in the Ukraine if I ever get day I will!!

Check back for more developments next time you are out surfing the web.
